Very fine Nain, Iran, in the Habibian Nain style circa 1980. High-quality silky lambswool velvet, flowers surrounded by silk, on cotton foundations. Density approx. 8,000 knots per dm2. Beige field with Hérati decoration: branching of palmettes of flower bulbs and foliage forming palmettes linked by finely drawn stems in the shape of pastel-toned exploded diamonds. Triple border, the main one in ivory, decorated in the same way as the central field. Beautiful graphics and good overall condition, 179 x 119 cm.
